After months of waiting this morning Doctors told us that in the coming weeks we’ll start the clinical trial in Italy giving TRIAC, the new experimental drug, to Davide and to the other patients affected with MCT8.
Technically it will start the Clinical Study called EUDRACT 2014-000178-20 ” Replacement hormonal therapy in patients with severe psychomotor delay caused by a mutation of MCT8 : TRIAC study ” approved by AIFA.
We should be happy , but in this moment already prevails concern about what could happen or not happen .
